Today's excursion takes place in the Gotthard region. The goal is the summit of the Schwarzlochhorn, the horn of the black hole.
First we reach the Gotthard Pass, which is currently a major construction site due to the construction of the new wind farm. We are not the only ones who have had the idea to go walking today. The pass is already full of cars. Fortunately, our destination is not very busy.
We start to climb along the dirt road that leads to the Alpe di Fortünéi. When we reach Barch, we leave the road and start to climb along the grassy slopes of the Valle delle Rive.
